I have an older pair of Raumfelds Stereo M speakers. They sound great but in terms of connectivity they’re rather limited. I switched to Tidal recently and the speakers don’t offer Tidal Connect or AirPlay, so playing music was very cumbersome.

But using Home Assistant and the AirSonos add-on I was able to add AirPlay to these old speakers and that makes playing music on them a breeze again! Just a month after I got my Mac Studio, Apple released a refreshed Mac Mini with M2 Pro chip. This was the machine I was hoping to buy (but Apple didn’t make a mac mini with a pro chip until now). Guess I should have waited a bit longer..
